Jay Klotz: Building a culture through skating, love and mental health

Heavily involved in Atlantic City’s creative and community scene, Jason Klotz has made it his mission to impact the youth through skateboarding, mentorship, wellness, and community development. Starting as love for skating which grew into SkateAC, a nonprofit organization that is not only focused on building parks. Their mission is also to create safe spaces, host youth programs, and bring us together through creativity, connection, and expression.

Under his leadership, SkateAC has grown tremendously, from a small dream to a national recognized non-profit that has already helped build multiple public parks. Hopefully more to come. Jason has organized multiple free community events, as well as providing lessons and mentorship for our young ones. He is a strong advocate for those in underserved communities, not just Atlantic City but people from all around.

As of recently SkateAC has been entering a new stage of growth. With more support and a stronger community, SkateAC plans to expand nationally and globally. Jason's hard work won't stop here. Be on the lookout for more things to come and visit one of his beautiful parks if you can. His most recent event in collaboration with New Balance and many pro skaters was a huge success.
