De Ward: From Basketball League Founder to Community Icon

After the first summer being a success, the Stay Hungry stop the violence league would go on to run for an additional five years with nothing but major improvements season after season. Each year featuring better talents as well as multiple college level, pro, and NBA players. Due to the growth and success, the 'William J Porter" Park received a makeover as well as two additional basketball courts being built around the city. Summer wasn't the only time Ward was involved in the community. During the winter in 2022 Ward would become apart of one of AC's first professional basketball leagues in recent years.  In just their second year in the TBL they would reach Northeast Division Championship. Now Ward is running the lifestyle streetwear brand "Young Forever". Ward has been recognized as a voice in his community multiple times, winning the Levander Johnson award. Recently jumping into the entertainment scene also, Ward hosted the first annual "Young Forever" ball. Which provided a mature, high-end, classy vibe for AC's finest.
